Riverstone is a Sri Lankan Sinhala thriller drama directed by Lalith Rathnayake. The film follows three police officers who are assigned to escort a prisoner through Sri Lanka’s mountainous regions during a tense and dangerous mission. As the journey continues, hidden emotions, moral conflicts, and ethnic tensions begin to surface among the officers and the prisoner. The story explores themes of duty, humanity, political violence, and personal guilt, showing how power and fear can affect ordinary people in difficult situations.
